Baramed Toxic marine animals
The world’s oceans are inhabited by creatures that can harm humans in one way or another.
Only very few, such as some sharks or crocodiles, can see humans as prey and devour them. This does happen, albeit rarely. Apart from these rare cases, practically no marine animal attacks humans of its own accord. Injuries caused by venomous animals in particular can therefore be classed as accidents.
In this educational document, we only deal with the most important dangerous marine animals and how we can provide first aid in the event of injury or poisoning.
